Question: Where is the best place to go camping and fishing in early April?
I want to go camping for spring break and try to do some fishing there too. My friends and I will be in Delaware, and we want to take a road trip somewhere at least 10 hours away.
Preferable somewhere a bit warmer than Delaware and preferably somewhere where we can catch fish, camp, have a fire, and do all that fun camping stuff. If alcohol is permitted, that would be highly favorable!

Why not head south to N. or S. Carolina? Lots of coast to explore, there has to be tons of fishing, and you can camp.

Question: Where is the best place to go camping in the early summer?
My family and I are planning a trip to go (tent/primitive) camping in southern Utah, but we would like a backup plan in case the weather stays/gets more rainy, cold and snowy. We will be leaving on May 21 and will be camping for 4 days… Anyone know of any really good places to camp where the weather will be nice and we can see some nature?

Question: What is a really good place to go on a hiking and camping trip for several days in Texas?
My buddies and I want to go on a backpacking trip for 4-5 days and rough it. We live in central texas and are willing to drive a little if need be. Near a lake would be great if we want to go swimming but we are looking somewhere with alot of secluded trails with great scenery and challenging hiking

Challenging hiking with secluded trails would be in Big Bend.
Something less remote would be East Texas in Tyler state park or farther South in one of the National Forests.

I couldn’t tell you for sure, but Lake Constance is beautiful. No matter if you pick the Swiss or German side, you will have a wonderful hike. Have Fun!

Question: Where is the best place to buy waterproof Vegan hiking boots?
I am a student soon to be starting an archaeology course at university, so I really need some good Vegan hiking boots to wear on digs, and they must be water proof.
As a student obviously I do not have avery big budget… But I am saving as I do need a good pair.
Any suggestions about where I could find some good ones that are not too expensive?
I could probably afford £130 but that would be a stretch for me.

My two favorite points are…
Route 7 at Weather Mountain. (aka: Snickers Gap)
or
Route 340 at the VA/WV border.
I like these spots because they both have decent parking areas to leave your vehicle for a few days.
A bit more advice here too. I would highly suggest you try a day hike starting at each of these locations to see how you like the parking areas and the starting points.
Also, do NOT use the shelters they have on the AT. Most shelters are located in close proximity to the highways. This means that the local riffraff like to use them for underage drinking and a place to use illegal narcotics. Take biker/hiker tents and camp in a nice safe spot off of the trail and away from the roadways.

Going to Schlitterbahn in July and we are planning on camping while there. What is a good place to camp along the Comal River that is also close to Schlitterbahn?
