Question: What are the most important things that you can bring on a hiking trip?
My friends and I are planning a hiking trip to Everglades City, FL. This will be our first time doing this type of outdoors activity. We are only planning on going for a few hours, but I know sometimes things don’t go as planned, so in case of an emergency what are the types of things that could save us to get out of trouble.

You will want a small first aid kit that includes a sting/bite kit. Always take a pair of dry socks, toilet paper (in a ziploc baggie so it doesn’t get wet), snacks (salty and sweet such as beef jerky and trail mix), water, flashlight with extra batteries, space blanket, light hoodie/jacket in case of rain or cool weather, and string/twine. I highly recommend purchasing a camelback backpack that way you can have your water running through the little tube and still store all your other gear in the bag. Enjoy your trip!
Question: What are the Most important camping supplies you should bring on a tenting trip?
