Here is my take: it’s not the climb. And, also it does matter the quickness. It does matter what’s on the other side. For we cannot just stay at one spot. Life is inherently fast. We cannot act as if 100 years is a long time. To do so is rather dilusional. The concept of “wait” is inherent in these lyrics. But logically you cannot wait. Seize the day is not what I am saying. Going into anything fool hardy is not my point. What I am trying to say is that life is not about getting to a point.

To suggest that getting to a “point” is the point in life is delusional. Crazy song. I hate it. How about you?

it’s one of her better songs. it’s got a good meaning. glad this song let you think so deeply. i love it when people can find a deep meaning in a particular song.

Question: In Miley Cyrus’ song “The Climb” why is she climbing a mountain?
She talks about having an up hill battle right? Is she fighting trolls? What is actually waiting on the other side? Is there a city of cannibals? I just don’t get this song!
